The Nature of Love

The home of love is the heart. The world is its companion.

Material, earthly love is based on attachment. Attachment gives rise to fear and anxiety. Such love is incapable of bringing peace or bliss. A mother lives in constant fear for her child. A husband or wife is constantly worried about their spouse. But as soon as one lets go of control and surrenders to the will of Life, the heart is instantly filled with peace.

Pure love, free from selfishness, is born of tranquility. Pure love possesses boundless strength and offers reliable protection. Everything happens as it happens. There is no need to interfere with the flow of life. It is better to trust it.

Love is steeped in trust. Without trust, love suffocates.

Love breathes lightly, with a gentle touch. It is tenderness, a captivating bond. Its nature is like the fragility of porcelain, the delicacy, and the softness of a down-filled shawl.

Love is attraction without burden. Love is drawing near without desire.

Pure love is divine; material love is driven by animal instinct.

Pure love is untainted by lust, while carnal love is permeated by sexuality and seduction.

Pure love is Reality itself.
